Nicholasville, Kentucky Drug and Alcohol Rehab Resources

Searching for addiction treatment near Nicholasville, Kentucky? Louisville Addiction Center serves Nicholasville and Jessamine County residents with structured treatment options designed to fit different stages of recovery, including PHP, IOP, outpatient care, dual-diagnosis treatment, and medication support when clinically appropriate.

Admissions begins with an assessment of substance use, mental health needs, safety concerns, daily responsibilities, and recovery goals so the clinical team can recommend an appropriate level of care and a realistic path forward.

Outpatient Addiction Treatment for Nicholasville Residents

Outpatient treatment allows clients to live outside a residential setting while attending structured clinical care. For people with stable housing, appropriate medical safety, reliable transportation, and a supportive recovery environment, this can provide meaningful treatment without completely stepping away from work, school, or family responsibilities.

Louisville Addiction Center offers a step-down continuum that can move from PHP to IOP and then outpatient care as stability improves. The appropriate starting point depends on clinical needs rather than a one-size-fits-all schedule.

Why Nicholasville Residents Choose Addiction Treatment in Louisville

Traveling outside Nicholasville for treatment can create separation from familiar triggers while still allowing clients to remain connected to Central Kentucky. Louisville Addiction Center provides multiple levels of care, evidence-based therapies, dual-diagnosis support, and coordinated treatment planning for clients coming from Nicholasville and Jessamine County.

Admissions can explain scheduling, program intensity, insurance coverage, and what to expect before treatment begins.

What We Treat

Alcohol Addiction

Alcohol treatment can focus on cravings, routines, relapse risk, emotional health, and recovery skills. Medication support such as naltrexone or acamprosate may be considered when clinically appropriate.

Opioids and Fentanyl

Care can address opioid cravings, relapse risk, withdrawal history, overdose safety, and medication-assisted treatment when appropriate.

Cocaine and Stimulants

Treatment emphasizes behavioral therapies, trigger identification, craving management, healthy routines, and relapse-prevention planning.

Prescription Drugs and Benzodiazepines

Clinical assessment is especially important when physical dependence or withdrawal risks may be present. Treatment planning is individualized to the substance and level of dependence.

Dual-Diagnosis and Mental Health Treatment

Substance use can overlap with anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, OCD, trauma, and other mental health concerns. Louisville Addiction Center provides dual-diagnosis treatment so both sides of the clinical picture can be addressed together.

Treatment may incorporate CBT, DBT, trauma-informed approaches, psychiatric support, medication management when indicated, individual therapy, and group therapy. The goal is to strengthen emotional stability while reducing the patterns that contribute to substance use and relapse.

Medication-Assisted Treatment for Nicholasville Residents

Medication-assisted treatment combines medication with counseling and behavioral support. When clinically appropriate, medications such as buprenorphine or naltrexone may be used for opioid use disorder, while medications including naltrexone or acamprosate may be considered for alcohol use disorder.

Medication does not replace therapy. It can be one part of a broader treatment plan that includes counseling, recovery skills, relapse prevention, and regular clinical monitoring.

LAC was great. I participated in the evening groups through zoom, which I originally had reservations about. Even though the meetings were online, they were still very engaging, informative, and personal. The therapist and case manager were incredible. They were both very authentic and supportive, and they were easily available when we needed them. I am very appreciative and grateful for this program.

LAC is an amazing treatment facility. Truly a 5 * place for treatment. From ownership, leadership to general staff this place is incredible. The therapist, Techs and speakers are all first class. The housing, if doing PHP like I participated in was also perfect. I met so many incredible people. It’s unreal to be honest. I today this day still stay in contact with most residents who I attended with. Thank you LAC for not only all of your help but also continued support!!!

I had the opportunity to tour and attend the open house for Louisville Addiction Center on 2/22/23. As and individual in recovery and also working for SUD, I couldn’t be more impressed with the facility and approach that LAC is taking and offering those affected by substance abuse. If you or a loved one is struggling, this facility would provide the treatment, love and comfort your family member deserves.
